Mobile App Development

Android with Kotlin, and cross-platform apps with Flutter.

12 Weeks · Beginner to Intermediate · Live Online

Two mobile stacks, taught side by side, so you can tell for yourself which one fits the job — native Android when it matters, Flutter when speed-to-ship matters more.

About this course

Native Android development with Kotlin and Jetpack, plus cross-platform development with Flutter — enough of both to build and ship a real app to a device, not just an emulator. Covers Kotlin fundamentals, Jetpack Compose UI, Android architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData/StateFlow, Room), REST API integration and coroutines, Flutter widgets and state management, and the Play Store submission process.

What you'll build

A native Android app with Jetpack Compose wired to a real backend, published as a signed APK, and a Flutter app sharing one codebase across Android and iOS.

Who this is for

Developers who want to build real mobile apps and aren't sure yet whether native Android or cross-platform Flutter fits their goals better — this course lets you learn both and decide with real experience, not guesswork.

Why this one's different

Most mobile courses pick one stack and stay there. This one is deliberately split so you leave able to make an informed call on native vs. cross-platform for your next project.

FAQs

Do I need prior programming experience?

Basic programming logic helps. Kotlin fundamentals are covered from scratch in week 1.

Will I learn iOS/Swift natively?

No — native iOS development isn't covered here. Flutter gets you to iOS through one shared codebase instead.

Which should I focus on if I can only pick one?

If the target is Android-only, go native. If you need both platforms fast, Flutter. We cover both so you can make that call yourself.
